According to their sales figures, it looks like Sony had a good Christmas, with Uncharted 4 sales closing in on the 9 million mark.
At the beginning of December Sony announced worldwide PlayStation 4 sales had hit a whopping 50 million, and thanks to Christmas that’s already jumped to 53.4 million.
Sales between November 20 and January 1 totalled a whopping 6.2 million. During that same ‘holiday’ season more than 50.4 million PlayStation 4 games were sold, at both retail and digitally.
The most successful PlayStation 4 exclusive by far has been Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which was first released in May and has now sold more than 8.7 million copies worldwide.
