Donate to ELAM
As a free, state-funded academy, ELAM receives basic funding from the government with which to deliver the curriculum and operate the school. However, in order to provide the best in-class, specialist education that is accessible for all, we need to raise additional money.
Fundraised income is directed towards initiatives which enhance our Trainees' vocational education, ensure they receive a world class education and leave ELAM ‘industry ready’. The additional programmes this funding provides includes, but is not limited to:
Industry-standard equipment and world-class facilities
An in-house Industry team who actively engage with organisations and individuals who can provide opportunities for our Trainees and Alumni within the Film and TV, Music and Gaming industries. This team also supports the most promising young artists as they navigate conversations with record labels.
Dedicated Outreach teams who proactively engage with secondary school students from hard-to-reach communities and socially deprived areas to encourage them to apply to ELAM, ensuring those who would most benefit from two years studying at ELAM have the opportunity to apply
An enhanced Pastoral Care and Mental Health Programme for our diverse Trainee population, including those with Special Educational Needs and/or on EHCPs
Travel bursaries to ensure there are no financial barriers to studying at ELAM
Subsidised nutritious, healthy catering and free breakfasts
Enrichment activities to increase students’ cultural capital and wellbeing
